History is always a good guide to determine whether a team is a good bet or not. If a team’s has had a good record against another in the past 3 – 4 years, that’s always a good start for us.
Secondly, what is their record like at the venue, in the last couple of years, as well as how have they gone during the day or night?
Thirdly – don’t get sucked in by teams in good form against teams playing poorly. Those bets are fraught with danger – and that’s where the opportunity to make money comes.
Finally, don’t always bet for a win or loss. A rubbish umpiring decision, or a poor kick for goal can snap defeat from the jaws of victory. (Think about Fev’s shot on goal last year against the Hawks).
We look at all different types of bets during the week, but line betting is something that you can take advantage of, and make you some good cash if you’re not 100% sure of who’s going to win.

You can choose to follow or not – it’s your choice. But to help you make a decision as to whether we know what we’re talking about – we’ll keep a record of our bets for the season. And you can judge for yourself whether we’re worthwhile following.
